Many people join the military and lose their lives protecting us. It's a dangerous job. Even when people do not die, they sacrifice a lot to help give the rest of us a life that's comfortable. It feels real good to them when people say thank you or show appreciation.
Today we will learn the rules of writing a friendly letter. In honor of Mr. Brown's nephew, who is in the airforce, and to all those who serve(d), we will write a friendly letter of thanks to those who work hard at making life good for us!
