I was browsing the internet looking for a Five-Paragraph Essay Model, and I found the "rainbow" approach. Mrs. Barnard at Pioneer Elementary School in Arlington, WA found some excellent resources, and then her class made their own model.
For some struggling writers the rainbow model really helps.
